Kachura Lake
Kachura Lake is the jewel of Skardu. Kachura Lakes (Kachura Jheel) are two lakes in Skardu “Upper Kachura Lake” and “Lower Kachura Lake”. Upper Kachura Lake is located in the upper region of Kachura and Lower Kachura Lake is located in the lower region of Kachura.
Lower Kachura Lake is also known as “Shangrila Lake”. It is a famous tourist attraction. Lower Kachura Lake is surrounded by guest houses, snow-covered mountains, green trees, and rest houses.Through a car, you can reach to Lower Kachura Lake from Islamabad in 13 hours.
